Sponsorship Policy<\/strong><\/h1>

The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance relating to sponsorship for community organisations and\/or community-based activities, events, initiatives, and projects to support the various communities in which we operate and are consistent with the values and corporate direction of our organisation.<\/p>

Sponsorship is provided financially or by value in-kind.<\/p>

Charitable donations and advertising are not considered as sponsorship.<\/p>

Assessment Criteria<\/strong><\/h1>

Sponsorship applications will be assessed on the following criteria:<\/p>

  • Whether the sponsorship is aligned to our corporate values.<\/li>
  • Benefits the community.<\/li>
  • Benefits Haeusler\u2019s Group.<\/li>
  • Benefits our customers.<\/li><\/ul>

    What will be Sponsored<\/strong><\/h1>

    Sponsorship must raise awareness of Haeusler\u2019s Group and our commitment to the community and make a positive contribution in one or more of the following areas:<\/p>

    • Community<\/li>
    • Agriculture<\/li>
    • Education<\/li>
    • Environment<\/li>
    • Sport<\/li>
    • Health<\/li>
    • Arts<\/li>
    • Entertainment<\/li><\/ul>

      What will not be Sponsored<\/strong><\/h1>
      • Organisations or activities that could be potentially hazardous such as smoking, gambling, alcohol or drug related activities.<\/li>
      • Organisations linked to contentious issues or political organisations or campaigns.<\/li>
      • Race specific organisations.<\/li>
      • An individual or small group\/team seeking support for personal interests.<\/li>
      • Activities intended to provide the sponsored body with private profit or gain.<\/li>
      • Organisations that have not fulfilled previous sponsorship agreements or are unwilling to provide sufficient information of the proposed activity.<\/li>
      • Activities which do not provide promotional opportunities for Haeusler\u2019s Group.<\/li>
      • Organisations or activities involving products, brands or companies that conflict with those of Haeusler\u2019s Group.<\/li>
      • Religious groups, unless they are affiliated with an organisation which benefits the community as a whole.<\/li><\/ul>

        How to Apply<\/strong><\/h1>

        All sponsorship applications are to be submitted by completing the Sponsorship Application form. It is preferred that at least two months\u2019 notice be given for a sponsorship application. The application must outline the details of the sponsorship, the level of support required and the benefits to the community and to Haeusler\u2019s Group. Haeusler\u2019s Group reserves the right to request any additional information relevant to making an informed decision in relation to sponsorship, prior to agreement and throughout the course of the sponsorship. We will use our discretion as to which sponsorships we will offer and which we will not, based on this policy and our sponsorship budget.<\/p>
